Bacio di Latte is growing and we are adding an Project Management Assistant to our dynamic team!
Bacio di Latte is a family owned, high-end gelato shop, making fresh authentic Italian gelato every day in house. Established in 2011, Bacio di Latte has over 190+ stores in Brazil and 9 shops throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and Ventura County, and we are growing at a rapid pace! We are opening 8 additional stores by the end of 2025 and 8+ stores in 2026. Our growth has created the opportunity to add a Project Management Assistant to our dynamic team.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role will assist in the coordination and management of new Gelato Shop location pre-openings, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings 6 months – 1 year experience in project management, preferably in retail or hospitality , strong organizational and multitasking skills with a passion for Gelato! This role is 100% onsite. Must currently reside in Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing new Gelato store openings. • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Monitor project progress and alert any issues that arise. • Maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and reports. • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work when needed. • Ensure that all necessary documentation for the opening is issued. • Support the Project Manager in conducting meetings and providing updates to stakeholders. • Help in the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices.
Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field • 1+ year Assistant Project Management experience, preferably in retail or hospitality • Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Asana or Trello a plus • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Must currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. This role is 100% onsite in Marina del Rey, CA.
