Summary

Do you enjoy cleaning and making things look new again? Do you enjoy helping others? A Cleaning Technician at SERVPRO cleans and restores homes and other property after damage from fire, water, smoke, mold or sewage. They also prepare rooms for work and respond to emergencies. We have a sincere drive toward the goal of helping make fire and water damage "Like it never even happened!" We are a family owned, and veteran ran company with a welcoming and energetic culture.

Responsibilities

• Clean, restore and deodorize contents and property
• Take pictures of contents before and after washing
• Load and inventory work vehicles with equipment, supplies, and products
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
• Respond to emergencies, such as water and fire damage
• Help with assessments and restoration plans
• Communicate with clients about concerns and the restoration process
• Communicate safety hazards and job site findings with supervisors
• Thorough understanding of water, smoke, and mold removal procedures and equipment used. (Training will be provided)
• Light office cleaning as needed

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Honest and accountable
• Detail oriented is a must
• Strong oral communication skills
• Background in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred
• IICRC certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Occasionally - Lifting objects/property
• Constant- Walking, standing and working with your hands

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

This is a full-time position, daytime, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires longer hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
