Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of a dynamic environment supporting IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of IT equipment, following specific instructions and safety protocols.
• Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, quickly identifying causes and performing break-fix repairs on faulty components.
• Decommission hardware for system refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds.
• Monitor systems for equipment failures or errors and respond to program error messages effectively.

What's Needed?

• Computer Science majors OR CompTIA A+ or Server+ certifications.
• Experience as a Data Center Technician, with hardware break-fix responsibilities.
• Previous experience with Geek Squad computer repair or similar computer repair technician roles.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
