My client, a 20+ year old fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm & Personal Financial Planning practice all under one roof.Over 100+ clients with assets over $120 million.
Position is open because the person is taking early retirement.
SUPPORT ROLE:
Financial Advisor Assistant - Operations Associate - Client Service Associate
YOU MUST HAVE a min. of 3-5 years of exp. doing this work for another RIA or Financial Planning firm AND exp. with the systems below.
DUTIES:
Provide comprehensive service for our clients (answering questions, helping them to coordinate transactions (money/asset movement, etc.), facilitating data or reporting requests, etc.
Help to educate clients on their account (explaining portfolio reports, client statements, etc.)
Successfully partner with Advisor for new account establishment, account maintenance, and compliance
Prepare compliance documents for new and existing clients as needed and maintain electronic and hardcopy files
Process, submit, and service all account paperwork/requests; follow through to completion utilizing paperless procedures (including eSignature) where available
Assist advisor with processing trades, retirement contributions, required minimum distributions, charitable contributions and grants using Fidelity Wealthscape platform
Compile daily and quarterly reports from Fidelity Wealthscape platform
Assist in the preparation of client meetings by preparing client investment portfolio analysis and performance reports
Recommend best practices for Advisor and clients
Participate in client meetings by supporting advisor with note taking and follow-up requirements
5 days a week in the office for the first 1-2 years, Job can in time become hybrid afterwards. NEEDS TO LEARN AND UNDERSTAND HOW THE ENTIRE OPERATION WORKS IN PERSON before working from home.
