Fitter/ Welder: Immediate Openings

We are seeking Structure Fitter Welders to become an integral part of the team! Welders will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Pay: $ 22 /hr. (DOE)

Location:  Sapulpa

Shifts: Nights 6PM - 6AM

Responsibilities:

• Carry out fillet, tack, and full penetration welding on steel structural joints.
• Ability to weld utilizing MIG/Flux
• Ability to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms.
• Must be proficient in reading and the proper execution for measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, levels.
• Set up welding machine and welding gun: assemble/disassemble welding tips.
• Operate cutting torch and plasma torch.
• Operate small saw machine and iron machine for cutting and coping, notching materials.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a 2G W/Backer Bar MIG/Flux Weld Test and a Fit Test based on a Blueprint. A weld symbol test will be given as well but, does not determine eligibility.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to effectively read shop prints.
• Experience with 4"-9” grinders and all other welding tools
