Sewing & Product Assembly Associate
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM (3-day weekends!)We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing & Product Assembly Associate to join our production team. This position involves sewing and assembling products such as vinyl covers, vests, slipcovers, and weighted blankets — including placing filling into products — to create high-quality finished goods.
Responsibilities:
Select appropriate thread colors and materials according to specifications.
Read and understand product patterns, specifications, and work orders.
Align and join parts, fasteners, and trimmings following seams, edges, or markings.
Sew using a variety of stitches (straight stitch, zig zag, cover stitch).
Place and evenly distribute filling into products such as weighted blankets.
Trim excess threads and edges for a clean finish.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of sewing equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
Experience operating manual and automatic sewing machines.
Ability to read and follow patterns, diagrams, and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Comfortable working in a production environment with dust, noise, and machinery.
