Job Description

Looking for a motivated and physically capable Warehouse Loader/Unloader & Pallet Builder to join our logistics team. This role is essential for maintaining efficient flow within our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for manually handling incoming and outgoing freight, meticulously building and wrapping stable pallets, and ensuring accuracy in all shipping and receiving processes.

salary: $17 - $17.5 per hour

work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities

• Manual Loading & Unloading: Manually unload incoming delivery trucks (containers/trailers) and stage products efficiently in the designated receiving areas. Manually load outgoing trucks according to manifest and weight distribution requirements.
• Pallet Building: Accurately and safely build stable, secure, and compact pallets by hand, stacking products according to size, shape, and weight distribution standards.
• Wrapping: Operate a pallet jack or forklift (if certified) to move built pallets and securely wrap them using stretch wrap machines or by hand to prepare for shipping.
• Inspection & Documentation: Inspect all incoming and outgoing products for damages or discrepancies, reporting issues immediately to the supervisor. Verify product counts against accompanying paperwork (Bill of Lading, manifest).
• Organization & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel, forklift operators, and supervisors to maximize productivity and meet daily production goals.
• Inventory: Assist with basic inventory functions such as cycle counting and slotting as needed.
