Our 135-bed facility in Logan is nestled in the picturesque scenery near Lake Logan State Park and is conveniently located off Route 33 between Lancaster and Athens. The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. We are committed to providing care so every resident can reach peak independence and functionality. Our dedicated therapy team has a proven track record of getting results! The therapy gym is spacious and equipped with all the tools that a therapist needs to provide the most effective treatment interventions.
**Duties:**
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and in alignment with patient goals.
- Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patient recovery and functional abilities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment strategies, home exercises, and preventive measures.
**Skills:**
- Possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment decisions effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of patient care.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required; eligibility for licensure will also be considered.
