Position Summary:
Soliant isseeking a compassionate and licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the School Nurse for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care, health education, and support services to students and staff, helping to maintain a healthy and safe school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of student health needs.
Administer medications, manage chronic health conditions, and respond to health emergencies.
Conduct routine health screenings and coordinate immunization compliance.
Educate students, staff, and families on health and wellness topics.
Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health.
Maintain accurate, confidential health records in accordance with legal requirements.
Participate in health-related initiatives and emergency preparedness planning.
Stay current with best practices and state regulations regarding school health services.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
Preferred: Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of child and adolescent health issues and school health policies.
