Trane in the Pacific Southwest is hiring a Regional Sr. Contracting Operations Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of the contracting fulfillment processes in its goal of operational excellence, support of overall strategic objectives, and accountable for overall project financial results for the Pacific Southwest Region including the following locations: CA, AZ, NV, HI, NM, and West Texas.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. This role can be based out of any of the following branch locations: Brea, CA, Rocklin, CA or Tempe, AZ.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute Regional strategy and Annual Operating Plan.
  • Ensures that quality standards are maintained, after an order is closed, for contracting process and functions required for execution and customer satisfaction, including new equipment, existing building services, and building automation.
  • Overall contracting responsibility for the following functions within the categories of new equipment, existing building services, building automation, energy services and turnkey: order follow up, customer inquiry, engineering, submittals, service operations, building automation operations, project management, technical support, warranties, claims, and resource allocations.
  • Develops or works with team leaders/coaches to establish required skill sets, talents, and capabilities.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years' experience in operations or HVAC systems required.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and turnkey projects preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $ 178,800 - 226,000 /yr. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
