American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with at least 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in the Emergency Department within an oncology-focused setting
  • Night shifts (3x12 hours), 19:00–07:30
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
  • Floating to other units is required
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records documentation
  • Cares for oncology and emergency department patient populations
  • Oncology experience is preferred but not required
  • Request for time off must be submitted with application and up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted for a 14-week contract at the facility's discretion
  • First time travelers are eligible for this role
  • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the rotation

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience required
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
  • Proficient IV start and telemetry monitoring skills
