As the Art Director, you will bring your expertise in creating concepts, and developing and executing direct-response campaigns for the amazing nonprofits that we support. In this role you will:
  • Create concepts that generate a desired goal: donations, awareness, engagement, and reactivation.
  • Collaborate with creative directors and other agency partners to conceptualize, develop and execute fully integrated direct-response campaigns (direct mail, email, newsletters, digital display, social).
  • Mentor and support junior designers.
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other team members.
  • Manage client style guides and standards.
  • Identify and elevate opportunities for improvement of creative art direction.
  • Develop and present creative recommendations.

What we seek:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-8 years of in-house or agency experience in direct response, primarily direct mail.
  • 1-2 years of experience in fundraising design, primary focus in direct mail.
  • Experience as a multi-channel designer.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite.
  • A strong creative vision and design skills across different channels (animation skills are a plus).
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and thrive under pressure.
  • Experience working across teams and departments with collaborative, amiable approach.
  • Prior project management software experience (Workfront is a plus).
  • Organized and self-sufficient, managing workloads and timelines across multiple clients.
  • Comfortable and effective developing decks and pitching presentations that sell our creative strategy.
  • A conceptual innovator who develops and oversees campaign design across channels.
  • Ability to speak Spanish fluently in a business setting is not required but would be a plus.
