Your Position: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
YourHealthco is seeking a mission-driven, pioneering Chief Medical Officer to shape our clinical
vision and help reinvent how care is delivered. To ensure strong early alignment with the
company's strategy and founding team, the CMO will serve as a Board Advisory Member during
the first year (2026) and transition to a paid position after the second year (2027). This period is
designed to provide full visibility into our model, technology, and operational philosophy before
transitioning into the full operating CMO role.
This position is located in Greater Boston only.
We need team members who understand the realities of modern practice and can design
solutions to it.
Key Responsibilities
As Chief Medical Officer (CMO), you will serve as a critical voice in both clinical and strategic decision-making and act as a core member of our advisor board team. Your work will steer our transformation of
independent primary care and shape a new industry standard for value-driven, transparent care.
- Lead the development of YourHealthco's clinical strategy, with a focus on primary care
transformation and physician empowerment. - Design and scale care models rooted in proactive, data-informed patient management.
- Co-create value-based frameworks and payment structures aligned with health
assurance, not insurance friction. - Shape regulatory strategy to support innovative payment and delivery models.
- Guide the scaling of high-performing independent provider networks.
- Advocate for PCP empowerment through reduced administrative burden and direct ACH
payment models. - Partner with Product & Engineering to leverage intelligent data, clinical insights, and
real-time analytics to support proactive care. - Champion technology that meaningfully improves clinician experience and patient
outcomes.
Candidate will bring:
- Serves as a member of the Board Advisor during the first year
- Clinical leadership, preferably in primary care, population health, or integrated delivery
models. - Significant leadership experience in primary care, population health, integrated delivery
systems, or care model transformation. - Demonstrated success in redesigning clinical workflows, implementing new care models,
or driving provider performance improvement. - Credibility with physicians, clinical operators, health system executives, and care teams.
- You've worked closely with provider organisations and know how to navigate complex
health systems. - Familiarity with value-based care models, risk-bearing entities, and alternative payment
mechanisms - Experience navigating regulatory frameworks.
- Deep understanding of provider networks, care enablement technology, and practice
economics.
