Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Pay Range: $45

Shift: First Shift (8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday)

What's the Job?

• Direct and manage plant maintenance activities across the entire complex.
• Assist with controlling profits, plans, and budgets to ensure operational efficiency.
• Implement improvements that promote success, including reducing mistakes, increasing efficiency, and enhancing product quality.
• Provide leadership, development, and training to maintenance staff to foster a high-performing team.
• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment, making adjustments or replacements as directed.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance supervision or team leadership within manufacturing environments.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in process improvement, re-engineering, and cost reduction techniques.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality standards, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to supervise maintenance employees effectively and promote a safe working environment.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
